The 2009-12 Journals Project is a new and exciting opportunity for people aged 11
- 21 to record their expectations, experiences and memories of the Special Olympics
in Leicester and its surrounding cultural events. The project is being delivered
by The Mighty Creatives*,
with training from Threshold Studios.
Young people from across the East Midlands will record their stories, experiences
and memories during the Special Olympics Leicester. They will use film, sound, written
word and/or artwork to build their 'journals'. The finished journals will appear
on this site and will be archived in Records Offices across the region.
